Slider Card

This was my first attempt at a slider card and I love how it came out. I used CTMH Dotty paper which was a paper special last year. I also used the CTMH Art Philosophy to cut the butterfly as well as the Artiste cart to cut out the banner on the front of the card. I used the Artiste stamp set to stamp "Hip Hip Hooray". I also used the following stamp sets: Card Word Puzzle, Dreams Come True, Card Chatter Sympathy and For Every Occasion.I  put some glitter on the butterfly to add a little flair. This card is bright and cheery and will make someone's day on their B-Day. I particularly like how the butterfly slides across the card.

Pop Up Tissue Box Card

I love Pinterest. You can find some fun ideas. This tissue box card came from a SU consultant on Pinterest. The measurements for the tissue box is 3' x 5' scored at 1', 2 1/2 ' and 3 1/2'. The card is an A2 sized card. I used glue dots to secure the box to the side of the card. I folded a long piece of tissue back and forth. Cut it down to fit the size of the box and pulled a piece through the top. I used CTMH Avonlea paper and the following stamp sets: Card Word Puzzle, Dreams Come True, Card Chatter Sympathy and For Every Occasion.

Thanks for stopping by!

Unity Stamp March Challenge

I love the Unity Stamp Challenges. This is the second one I am participating in. There are 3 different challenges. This time I decided to use the sketched layout.

Here is the sketch

Here is my take on this sketch. I decided to do a layout that was all about me. I randomly took this picture of me with my cell phone and thought it was pretty cool as I tried to figure out my thoughts. I used CTMH Scholastic paper as the base. For the patterns on the right side of the page I used red Washi tape, a Unity Stamp that is sort of chevron ish and the strip of paper that I cut from the top of this base which looks like a torn off piece of notebook paper. I used the Unity Stamp clip board image which I think is sooo cute! I also used the stamp set with all of the sayings that are stamped all around the page. I stamped in CTMH Dessert Sand and Black ink. The clock in the left hand corner is a Unity Stamp which I used CTMH Dessert Sand and Twilight ink. I had a bag of Unity Stamps I bought last year that I never used. It was one of those specials where you get a tons of stamps for a low price. The  No. 0, Never Give Up and Inspire stamp was in that bag. I love how it well with my empowerment type theme. The title was a sticker set I had for a few years I never used. Finally the right time to use it. I love how it came out. I added this page to my "Me" album which are pictures of me and only me  I started putting together last year.

Dad's Girls...

I had fun creating this layout of a picture my sister sent to me. My sister turned 16 in February. It was fun to be able to attend her party and be there to take a picture with our dad.

I used black card stock as my base. I liked the purple and white border around the picture so I used CTMH Moonlight paper to bring out the purple. I double matted the picture on black and white card stock. I wrapped bakers twine around the mat and added an embellishment from the Moonlight WTOG kit. I used CTMH Glitter paper to make a cute border. I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart to cut the title. I removed the letters and let the black come through where the letters were removed. I added a clip at the top of the pic and a little banner at the bottom spelling out my sis's name. Always fun scrapping family moments.

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Featuring The Letter F

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter F. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their F element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy.
If you came from "Jen - Roxybonds Scrappin" then you're on the right track!
The Letter "F" in my creation stands for Family. I created this layout using the CTMH Chantilly paper packet and dimension elements. The picture is of my sister, my daughters and I. The concept for the design came from the Make It From Your Heart Vol. #1 which is a great idea book with scrapbook layout designs as well as cards available at the amazing price of $7.95!!

I used the following embellishments to make this layout come to life...Sparkle Flourishes, Baker's Twine Paradise Assortment specifically the color smoothie and Bitty Sparkles. I did some random stamping in 1st and 2nd generation using the Card Word Puzzle stamp in Gold Rush Ink. I incorporated the use of the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cartridge to make the pendant and cut out the letters that form the word "FAMILY". You can't go wrong with this cartridge!!
Thank you for stopping by!! I enjoy reading your comments so leave me some blog love. If you are interested in any of the products used to create this product click on the links which will take you to my CTMH website.

I love all things about the season of awakening  So I decided to host this fun celebration with some of the most talented crafters that I know.

I am the second stop along this bunny trail..... You should have come from Lisa's blog. If not, please start at Lisa's blog as she has a gift for everyone. Your next stop is Vicki's blog.
Now before you see my project I am offering BLOG CANDY!!! I will choose a winner who will receive the below CTMH "Chantilly" paper packet along with the coordinating Dimensional Elements
Now that all that fun is out of the way time to unveil my project..I made two fun scrapbook layouts using "Chantilly" paper. These pictures are quite old as my daughter will be 10 in April but in scrapping anytime is a good time to scrap pictures! The Chantilly Dimension Elements were also used. I added some easter egg stickers I had.

This layout was so fun to create as it brought me many memories. I can recall how excited my daughter was to put on this dress. I remember having to hide her little girl heels as she wanted to wear them everyday. The joys of having memories which is why I have a love and passion for scrapping. I used K&Company letters to spell out the word Easter and I added a fun sticker I had about Spring.
 Thanks for Hopping by!!

Spring is Hopping Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to the Spring is Hopping Blog Hop on March 9 to 10 from 9 am to 11 pm CST.  Thank you for joining us to help us celebrate Spring and Easter. I love all things about the season of awakening  So I decided to host this fun celebration with some of the most talented crafters that I know.

I am the second stop along this bunny trail..... You should have come from Lisa's blog which is also the starting point on this hop. If not, please start at Lisa's blog as she has a gift for everyone. Your next stop is Vicki's blog.

Now before you see my project I am offering BLOG CANDY!!! In order for you to qualify for my blog candy you MUST visit each blog on Day 1 and Day 2 and leave a comment as well as become a new follower of my blog. I will choose a winner who will receive the below CTMH "Chantilly" paper packet along with the coordinating Dimensional Elements

Now that all that fun is out of the way time to unveil my project....I make a popcorn style 3-D holder which I thought could be used as a non-traditional Easter Basket. I used the CTMH Artiste Cricut Cartridge to cut out this cute 3-D shape. I used a retired Easter stamp set for the basket. I colored in stamped image using Spectrum Noir markers and used some pop dots to give it some dimension. Guess what paper this is? Chantilly!! The same paper packet that will be given as BLOG CANDY!!

Below is the 3-D shape in action. Add a little easter grass, candy and fun eggs and there you go!!

I'm not done yet... I also made an Easter Gift Card holder again using Chantilly paper as well as the dimensional elements on the cover. I used the same retired stamp set for the bunny and egg images. Cut some grass out of green paper and added to the inside of the holder to give a pop up effect when the card is opened. I also cut out the word "Easter" as well as this gift card holder using the CTMH Artiste cart.

Thanks for Hopping by.  Please come back tomorrow for another great project.

CTMH meets Robert Jackson Digi Images

I am in a FB group and several of the ladies were posting beautiful cards with images I fell in love with. Of course I had to inquire about who the artist was and I learned about Robert Jackson and his talent for drawing digi images. I have never used a digi image and was somewhat leery I was going to have to color the image but I figured I would give it a shot. I purchased my images, downloaded them and began my coloring. I used Copic markers a friend of mine gave me on the face and Spectrum Noir markers on the rest of the image. I used CTMH retired paper Sonoma I had left over. I also used CTMH stamps for the sentiment as well as the inside. I heat embossed the sentiment using CTMH products. I love how it came out. I think I like digi stamps.
