FUNTABULOUS Cards...(Yes, I made up that word!!)

I had so much fun crafting with my 6 pack sisters yesterday. I didn't get much accomplished since we were playing with some techniques and talking tons. Thats what its all about..Fellowship while preserving moments and making cards to make someone's day!!

Here are some fun cards I made...

If your a follower of my blog you have seen previous cards I have made with the heat embossing and watercolor technique. The tutorial I used was by Darlene Designs. I am loving this technique. The cards come out so pretty!! You could even leave it white and not color it in. Very elegant!! I am going to try the white heat embossing on black card stock!

Yesterday was my best friends 40th B-Day. I made this card which was simple to do. I used the Artiste Cricut cart to make. I literally cut out the balloons and banner. Adhered the balloons to the front of the card. Stamped the string and the banner. Took less then 15 mins to make.

My card concept inspiration came from Debbi Silberberg on Pinterest. You an click here to see her card. I just loved her card so I made one. I heat embossed with white linen embossing powder but as I sit here thinking you could just as easily stamp with white ink. That will make it easier and shorten the time it took to make the card.

I hope you enjoyed my creations. Leave me some blog love! You can purchased CTMH products using my website. Happy Crafting!!

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

chosen as their L element will be featured in their post.

The letter "L" represents the word "Love"...This layout will also be considered my Day 5 "A Page A Day" vacation layout. I captured special moments while on vacation. Our reflection in the store window is a pretty cool picture so I added it to the layout. The caption reads "Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies"....
I used cotton candy, black, white daisy and ruby card stock along with For Always & Sweetheart paper. I also used a combination of stamp sets Whooo's Your Valentine (special campaign), Stitched Together and Mad About You December SOTM set. The title letters were cut using the Artiste cart and the banner and tab were cut using Art Philosophy. I also used both carts to cut the hearts. The hearts are stamped in holiday red, black and pink carnation ink. I also used bakers twine for the banner. I had fun making this layout and using a variety of different CTMH products.

I like zoos and aquariums and I have to say I have never been in an aquarium that gave me ohhhhs and ahhhhhs just by viewing the structure of the facility!! It was amazing to walk through areas with fish, large sharks and sting rays swimming above you.

These pictures capture how it looks as you take your first turn into the building. There is this glass wall...well I guess a huge fish tank you can stand in front of for a picture moment. June Stamp Of The Month Cards.... A Flowering Bunch

I just love our SOTM (Stamp of the Month) program. Purchase $50.00 in CTMH products from my website and get the SOTM for $5.00 available June 1-30th!!! I decided to have some fun with the A Flowering Bunch stamp set since it is spring and flowers are blooming.

I love following Darlene Designs blog. She teaches some wonderful techniques and this one caught my eye. You can see where my design concept came from by taking a look at her card.

I watched her tutorial and said to myself you have all of these CTMH products to make a lovely card so that is what I did.

I followed her tutorial and stamped my SOTM image in versamark. I then heat embossed using my craft heater and white embossing powder. I used the CTMH water color pencils to color in the image and went over it with my water brush. I stamped the sentiment and used the corner rounder to round the image. Pop dots were used to add dimension to the sentiment. Easy peasy and a beautiful card was the end result.
I used the same technique described above using the SOTM. I used the CTMH chalk marker to draw the stems. The sentiment is from A Little Thanks stamp set.  For both cards I used the "Dream Pop" paper (sorry no longer available) to make a decorative trim to color coordinate with the color of the sentiment.

Don't miss out on this wonderful stamp of the month. Make your purchase here. All CTMH products were used to create these cards.

Thank you for stopping bye and happy crafting!

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Featuring The Letter K

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter K. This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their K element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy.
If you came from Theo ~ Celebrate Crafts then you're on the right track!
The letter "K" represents the word "KEY". I made two projects using the Key Moments Everyday Life stamp set and For Always paper packet. Specifically I concentrated on using the key in each project.
The first item I made was a corner book mark. I tried to make it masculine so I could give it to my BF who is an avid reader. I used the Art Philosophy cart to cut the square and the decorative glitter paper overlay. I stamped the key and used pop dots to give it some dimension. I blinged it out for some added flair. Who doesn't love a little bling??
My second project was a card using Dream Pop paper. I tried a new type of card from Splitcoaststampers. This card is called Cami's Trifold card. Pretty simple and I like how it turned out. I again used the "key" stamp to represent my "K". I used the Art Philosophy cart page 41 <circle 3> to cut the decorative circle. I adhere it to the paper and then cut a circle out the middle. I blinged out the remaining edge of the circle. I used the Love Life stamp set for the sentiment "Happiness Lives Here". If you want full details on how to make this type of card please visit Splitcoaststampers.
I am the last stop on the hop. If you started with me please go to the beginning to Amber's ~ Scrapper's Therapy blog.
Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way :) Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

This hop will begin at here at Scrappin with Shalana’s blog.
Drum roll please........Are you ready for my creation??

I have been wanting to make this mini magazine holder, well in this case a card holder for many months. I cut the note card holder using the Artiste cricut cartridge. I used black & gray card stock and decorated with B&T paper from the For Always paper pack. I also embellished with fabric flowers using For Always Textiles.
I made a total of six cards to go with this holder. I had fun using the trendy rays technique. I also used the Monogram stamp with the first initial of my name as well as Perfect Fit Frames Flair stamp set. I cut the stamp shapes out using the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge.
I used the True Thank You ~ Oklahoma Tornado Relief Campaign stamp for this next card. This stamp set is available for $2.95. 100% of proceeds will go to the Red Cross to aid in relief for those impacted. Get your stamp set today!! I also used Slate Satin Polka Dot Ribbon

This card ended up being my favorite. The design concept comes from Make it From Your Heart Volume 1. I added some fun touches with the "Sweet as Honey" sentiment from the Honeycomb Flair stamp set as well as cut out the flower from the Art Philosophy cricut cart. The flower was cut starting at 2 inches and descending until 1 1/4 inches was reached. I also did free hand stitches along the top and bottom of the card with my CTMH Metallic marker.
Your next stop on this hop is Kisa ~ Hanging In The Woman Cave.
Now here’s the entire blog hop list! Enjoy
