The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Featuring the Letter E

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the Letter "E". This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their "E" element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Linda's blog ~ Scrappy Therapy.

If you came from "Stephanie Feist-The Quilted Scrapper" then you're on the right track!

My Letter "E" = "Easel" card w/ a drawer. These cards are so cute and will brighten anyones day!!

I used Lollydoodle and Balloon Ride paper.
Check out my youtube video so you can see how these were made:

I love dimension so I popped up the balloon which was cut from patterned paper using 3-D Foam tape. I distressed the edges using chocolate ink and a piece of sponge.
The cloud and sentiment is from the Windy Day stamp set. I stamped the cloud in black ink and used CTMH water color pencils and water pen to blend.
To jazz it up and give the card some weight I added this cute charm from the Base & Bling Free Thinker Charms. I just love these charms!!
I also liked the added touch of this bow which is from the Ariana Assortment.
The brads I used were from my stash. How cool is this card?!?! You can give as a gift with money in the drawer or how about a necklace made from the new CTMH Base & Bling!!
This one was made from the Lollydoodle paper. I love the Owls stamp set which you have seen me using in several different projects. I stamped the owls in black ink and colored them using water color pencils. I again used my water pen to move the color. I stamped the branch using chocolate ink and topiary for the leaves. I added some Lagoon Bakers Twine from the Paradise Assortment to top it off.
The scoring of the card stock was done using my MS Scor board and the CTMH bone folder. I added the brads by piercing the paper with the piercing tool.
