Wanderful & Pathfinding Card Inspiration

I have been having a BLAST creating with some of the new CTMH products!! Here are a few cards I made using Wanderful and Pathfinding paper.

Wanderful Paper....
This stamp set is so cuteeee!! It is called "Better with A Friend" and is a new Hostess Reward stamp set. I used the new CTMH markers to color the image. I paper pieced the dress.

This was a fun card using the design and Repeating Image Technique which I found demonstrated by Tresa Black in the "In Love with Paper Crafts" book. The sentiment is from the September SOTM and the ice cream from the June SOTM.

Pathfinding Paper....
I love the colors in this paper pack. I used the new "You Mean The World to Me" and "Pretty Petals" stamp set.

How cute are these flowers?! The flowers were stamped on patterned paper and cut out. This is the February SOTM. The sentiment "Hello" is from the "Have a Happy Day" stamp set. I used my spray pen with some chocolate re-inker and water to give the sprayed effect on the top right corner.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!

Christmas in July with Snowhaven

I am enjoying sharing new CTMH product creations with you. Today I am featuring two cards made using the new Snowhaven paper. New product will be available AUGUST 1st!!

How cute is this paper?! I used the new Glacier ink to stamp the frame around this cute bear. The bear is from the October SOTM!! Fun sneak peak for you but you gotta wait until October :-) The sentiment is from the Make It Merry stamp set which is soooo cute!! You can see more of this stamp set in the below card.

This card again uses the Make It Merry stamp set. The sentiment is from A Holiday stamp set. I did some free hand line drawing around the border. I had fun paper piecing the scooter. I stamped the scooter in black and ruby. I cut pieces out of ruby image out and adhered it in the appropriate places. The christmas tree and presents are popped up using 3-D foam tape to give it dimension. I also randomly placed some of the new silver sparkles. This stamp set is so cute I will be using it for my Christmas cards this year.

Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting!!

Card Inspiration from the New CTMH Annual Inspiration Book

Oh my I am overwhelmed with excitement about the new CTMH products featured in the Annual Inspiration Idea book. These products will be available August 1st!! I have had the pleasure of creating with some of them and are sharing some cards I have created.

There are 9 paper packets!! YES...9!! You will see some of them captured here...ready set GO!!

Seaside Paper....
I really like the colors in this paper. I used the new CTMH markers to color the boots. The stamp is called Rainy Day.

This stamp set is called Treasured Friendship. I again used the markers to color in the shells a bit. If you take a closer look you will see 2nd generation stamping using the tree from the Always Grateful stamp set. Added some glitter at the bottom of the shells for a sandy effect.

Scaredy Cat paper...
How cute and fun is this card. I used the Frightfully fun stamp set. Again using the markers to color the images.

The main image in this card was cut out from the patterned paper and backed with black card stock. The ghosts are from the Frightfully fun stamp set.

Confetti Paper...
You will have tons of fun with this paper. The stamp set is Puppy Party. I used the new Thistle ink for the puppy.
This card was a lot of fun to make. I used the 2 new Triangle and Chevron CTMH punches. The triangle punch allowed me to make the cute banner. I used the Sweet as Sugar stamp set.

Yuletide Carol paper...
While this is Christmas paper I thought the pattern could go well for a Wedding card. I used the Celebrate Love stamp set. The coloring was again with the new CTMH markers.

This card is one of my FAVS!! I used the design from the Snowhaven card making kit however using Yuletide paper. Shows how you can use the instruction cutting guides and designs over and over again. The stamp set is Sing Glory.

Brushed paper....
This card was made with the Happy Day stamp set. I love the springy feel. Super cute colors and design. I used the new Thistle, Glacier, Pixie and Canary ink.
I love this card!! The sentiment speaks to me. I used the Always be Your Kind of Wonderful Stamp. I masked the sentiment image so I could place the words separately around the butterfly. I stamped the image twice so I could add some dimension with the colored butterfly again using the new CTMH markers. The base & bling ornament was used as an embellishment. I glittered the butterfly after coloring.

Thank you for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the new stamps and paper collections. Tons of fun to look forward to using these new products. I would love for you to shop with me...CLICK HERE.

Pretty In Pink & Green

I had the pleasure of visiting Wooten's Scrapbook Co. while on a work trip to Ontario, Ca. How lucky could a gal get as she rode past a scrapbook store right around the corner from my hotel. I just had to check it out!!

The ladies in the store were FAB and super duper helpful. Since I already have so many scrapbook supplies I leisurely strolled not sure what I would get. I happened upon Julie Nutting stamps which I have heard of but never used. I saw two that caught my eye and I had to get them. I finally took the time to use the "Mindy" stamp. I absolutely love how this card came out.

Can you tell I am not skilled in coloring...ummm yep!! lol I will perfect what works for me at some point. With that said I used Copic markers to color this image. I stamped the image on White Daisy and Ivy Lane Green card stock. I also stamped the image on this pretty Ivy Lane paper. I did some paper piecing. I added the pieces I cut out which were the shoes, hair band and the dress. I added a few Pink Flamingo Dots to the dress and shoes to jazz it up.

Here is a closer look! Can you tell I love Pink & Green..hmmm wonder why?!?! I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to cut out the butterflies. I used Ivy Lane Green and Hollyhock card stock. I put a Bitty Sparkle in the center of the larger butterflies.

Here is another look at an Ivy Lane Complement sticker. I outlined the sticker using Icicle Stickels which gave it the WOW factor.

This sticker is from the Ivy Lane Complements. I used the Look To The Light stamp set for the sentiment which I stamped using black ink. The ribbon is retired CTMH. I used my CM bubble punch for the decorative edge.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!! SHOP WITH ME...for your Ivy Lane paper which will be no longer available after July! Don't miss out!!

Love is In The Air....

When the summer months hit weddings pop up all over the place. In the spirit of love I created this fun Pop Up Congrats card for my Scraps of Color Blog project.

Here is the finished card. Follow along to see how I put it together.....

Cut your base piece of card stock at 4 1/4 x 11 inches.

Score the base at 5 3/8 and 5 5/8 inches.

Cut your inside piece of card stock at 4 x 11 inches.

Score the inside piece of card stock at 4 1/2, 5, 5 1/2, 6 and 6 1/2 inches.

Fold the score lines making a mountain valley fold.

Place 2 pieces of sticky tape on the inside flap of the mountain.

Cut a piece of an actetate sheet. You can also use a piece of hard plastic. I cut it into one 1/2 inch piece and two 1/4 inch pieces.

I worked on stamping images that I was interested in using. I tend to stamp more than one just in case I mess up stamping or fussy cutting the item. I used copics to color the flower arrangement. I used the ink from the top of the ink pad and my water brush to shade in the bells.

I placed the acetate strips in the mountain against the sticky tape and added my pop up pieces. I cut off the excess acetate. I embellished the wedding cake with adhesive rhinestones.

In order to adhere the inside piece to the card base I put sticky tape around all four edges. I slowly adhered each side making sure the bottom mountain and valley was sitting in
between the score lines completed in step 2.

Here is a close up of the inside of the card. Once you adhere the inside you have empty white space at the top and bottom. I added CTMH gold polka dot vellum which I had from a special paper pack. I cut a piece of card stock to adhere to the inside and made a designer edge using my Martha Stewart punch.

To put together the cover of the card I cut a piece of card stock and dry embossed using my CTMH embossing folder ran through my Big Shot.
I decided to heat emboss my "Congratulations" sentiment. I used Versamark and stamped the sentiment.

I sprinkled the gold embossing powder over the Versamark'd image and used the heat gun to set it.

The sentiment was so pretty and shiny after the heat gun worked its magic!!

I placed a piece of gold polka dot vellum at the bottom of the card. I lined the vellum with bronze shimmer trim. I added my stamped sentiment to the front and did some faux stiching. I added a bow from the CTMH Ariana Assortment and a heart that says "Love" from the CTMH base and bling collection.

I hope you enjoy and try to make a pop up card to brighten someone's day. Let your imagination take you there with the varying items you can use to pop up :-)
