Kiss It Better....

I absolutely adore the new "KISS IT BETTER" stamp set. This is a great stamp set to brighten someones day. This card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire.
I started by cutting off 1 inch of the card base. I added this cute patterned paper from the Whimsy Fundamental paper collection. To add some flair I added a strip of silver foil tape. The great thing about this stamp set is the band aid shape can be cut from the CTMH Artistry cricut cart. I stamped the band aid using whisper ink.

I stamped the images 3 more times on a scratch piece of White Daisy cardstock with Whisper ink and colored the center heart with the RP198 Tender Pink Shinhan marker. I fussy cut out the hearts and used 3-D foam tape to pop them up off the band aid. I adhered the band aids only securing one side with adhesive so it could hang off the side of the card. The sentiment was stamped with Black ink. So super cute.

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop... Letter B

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "B". This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their "B" element will be featured in their post.

If you came from "Jenn Benner's - Jen's Messy Studio" then you're on the right track!

The letter "B" represents the Beloved Bouquet stamp set. So fitting this is the current January stamp of the month.

I created a few cards using a watercolor technique I saw done by a fellow CTMH sister Denise Anderson Turley. I adored it and had to try it myself.

Of course I pulled out my CTMH water color paper, water colors and paint brushes. I used like colors and made random paint marks, with the intent to flowing one color into the other from light to dark.

I used my heat tool to dry my painting.

The images were stamped from the Beloved Bouquet stamp set using Memento ink.

Yes...I fussy cut them out. I enjoyed it for some reason. Not always the case :-)
I must say I loved how they turned out!! I decided to put clear wink of stella on the flowers by tracing the black lines. Added some flair!

Here is a more masculine type card I created using Outdoor Denim, Whisper and White Daisy cardstock. I added a strip of silver glitter trim and some pieces I punched out using my Chevron border punch. I made a patterned background piece of paper using the smaller flower stamp set and 2nd generation stamping with Whisper ink.

I adore La Vie En Rose paper so I had to use it. The design for this card comes from the Kaleidoscope card making kit. It makes it so easy to use the instruction guide to cut the paper make a card look totally different just by using a different paper pack.  Easy Peasy!!

Last but not least this card was created using the Kaleidscope paper pack. I added a few Pink Enamel gems to give it a little flair.

I hope you enjoyed seeing how fun the January SOTM can be. Remember you can only get it during the month of January so don't delay and miss your opportunity. You can shop with me here.

One of the super cool new products are select stamp sets that have coordinating thin cut dies! I am showing off the new Spring Critters stamp set that is super cute and has tons of versatility!!

This card shows how I used the frog critter along with the "Hello There" sentiment. The paper on display in this card is the Kaleidoscope paper pack. I colored the image using the Shinhan Touch Twin markers. I had to add some pink enamel gems to accent as well as some twine I had in my stash.

Here is a look at the stamp set:

and the coordinating thin cuts....
It was so easy to get the perfect cut around the images running the thin cuts through my Big Shot and then stamping the image! Visit my CTMH website to make your purchases today!!

I've Been Scrappin...I've Been Scrappin.....

I took some time over the last weekend to make a few scrapbook layouts. I am in a challenge on FB where I committed to getting 26 scrapbook layouts completed this year. I know that doesn't seem like a lot and I may do more but I wanted to be reasonable with everything else I have going on in life.

I love the CTMH Zoe paper pack. This layout was created using Zoe. I did add in a vellum piece of paper from an old special paper collection called Free To Be Me. I used the Ink Blot, Documenting Moments stamp sets. I cut out title and pieces from a few project my life cards I had on hand. The camera was cut from the Artistry cricut cartridge and stamped from the Hello Life Scrapbooking stamp set.

You have to love the colors in the Sangria paper pack. I captured the moment of my girls and I smiling as I took selfies. I used the Artbooking cricut cart to cut out the title "Smiles". The butterflies were cut at  1 1/4 inch and 2 inches from the Artistry cricut cart. I added some twine, sequins and a few banners. Quick layout ot put together.

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop ... Letter A

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter "A". This may be the name
of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has
chosen as their "A" element will be featured in their post.

If you came from "Wendy Kessler's My Scrapbooking Blog" then you're on the right track!

My Letter "A" represents the "Animal Greetings" Operation Smile stamp set. I absolutely adore this stamp set. Not only are the animals super cute but purchasing this stamp set gives to a very worthy cause. Learn more about Operation Smile by clicking -> HERE

I saw this super cute card design by Janet Wakeland on Pinterest. Loved the concept and it was quick and easy to make. The cards also fit in a standard A2 sized envelope!!

Here are the basics crafty supplies you need to make these cards. The base of the card is cut at 4 1/4 x 7 1/2. The B&T paper is cut at 4 x 3 1/2. I also cut a piece of card stock to place in the inside of the card. I used my stitched circle dies to cut two different sized circles.

Take your card base and score in half at 3 3/4 inches.

Fold your bases in half and adhere the patterned paper on the front of the card and your plain piece of cardstock to the inside.
Adhere the smaller die cut circle onto the larger circle. I stamped the moose and rabbit from the stamp set.

I colored the images using ShinHan markers. Once I was done coloring I put adhesive on the back of half the circle and adhered it to the top of the card.

To get the mirror image of the rabbit I stamped the image on acetate and then pressed the acetate down on the circle. It was lighter than I anticipated so I went over it with my journaling pen. You can probably tell the lines are much darker in that image. Now you can embellish the card as you see fit.
