You Mean The World To Me....Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Coming to you with Sketch #301 of the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I encourage you to join along in the challenge!!

I love the bow in this sketch! At one point I believe I put a bow on nearly every card I made πŸ˜‚

Here is my take on the sketch. I was thinking of my sister as I made this card. She's in California and I in Pennsylvania. I am always missing her. In this very moment this stamp set said exactly what I was thinking.

I paired the I Heart Us paper collection with the Wish You Were Here Stamp set.

I worked in the Decorative Borders, circle and heart thin cuts. If you haven't tried the thin cuts you are missing out!!

Best Wishes - Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

It's a celebration!! Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge is showcasing Sketch #300! I was honored to take part in this celebration.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch. I used the Budding Peony stamp/thin cut, (retired) Documented Scrapbooking and Card Captions January SOTM. The image was colored using Copic Sketch Markers.

I added white dots to act as my circles. I stamped the smaller accent stamp in Lilac which came from the Documented stamp set.

The shadow around the flowers were created using a water brush and Pewter ink. I heat embossed the "Best Wishes" sentiment using white embossing powder. Love how it pops on the black cardstock.

I also decided to make a scrapbook layout using the sketch. I have been working on scrapbook layouts created using Selfies I take. This layout was created using the new I Heart Us Workshop Your Way Kit.

I Love You This Much - Friday Instacard Challenge

I enjoy the Instacard Challenge group I am in. Friday night we challenged one another to case a card. I cased a card I saw on Magentabutterfly's IG page. I loved how colorful it is. I later found through her Youtube video she cased Heather Hoffman. Such an awesome card design. Check out my cased card below.....

The card was created using a combination of old vs new CTMH stamps. The retired stamp is D1498 (Doesn't have a name on the envelope) which was used for the large heart. I added in the smaller hearts and sentiment from the current A Piece of My Heart stamp set which is currently a special. I love the solid and outline hearts.

The ink colors are Raspberry, Tangerine, Canary, Sweet Leaf, Lagoon and Black. Great rainbow color combo for this design.

Love is Sweet - Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

It's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge time. Today I am sharing the Love Is Sweet card I created with dies and stickers. Imagine that....

The Heart Happy Workshop Kit is the sweetest!! If you take a look at this card versus the one from the last challenge it's amazing that they come from the same paper collection. Are you feeling the love on how versatile this paper is?! LOVE πŸ’ž

Here is the sketch I followed. There is still time check out the challenge and submit your creation.

Do you like the scallop border? If so check out the decorative borders dies. You can achieve this same look and much more!
How cute are these stickers I used for embellishing!! They are apart of the below collection. Add a little shimmer on the lips...so cute!!

Thank You - Budding Peony

OMG have you seen the Budding Peony stamp and die? I absolutely adore this card inspired by Erum Tasneem who created a video on Jennifer McGuires blog showing you the Faux Dimension technique.
This is a must have stamp and die! You can use different mediums to color the flower. In this case I used Copic Sketch markers.
I hand drew the lines in different sizes the way Erum displayed in her video. I used Canary, Eggplant and Black reinker for the splatter effect.

The shadow around the flower was created using a water brush and Pewter ink. Love, Love, Love it!! Of course I add shimmer to selected spots on the flower.

It's Your Day...Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Check out the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. This is a super cute sketch. I made a card using the sketch and I love the finished product. Now who can I send a Birthday card too?!

Here is my birthday card using the Years of Sweetness stamp set along with Heart Happy collection promotion paper pack.  The cool thing about this stamp set is the corresponding cuts are from the Artbooking cricut cartridge.
The cupcake is cut from Artbooking. I used Candy Apple, Carolina, Saffron, Black and Sapphire ink.

Happiness Is A Butterfly....

I am such a lover of butterflies so I clearly had to get the new Butterfly Friendship stamp and thin cut set. I went with a purple theme using Lilac and Pansy ink and had fun using the masking technique.

How cute are the Sugarplum Glitter Gems??
