Technique Junkies January 2024 New Release

 Hey Crafty Friends - 

I'm back on my blog to share the January new release! I am beyond excited as the Puffball Girl stamp speaks to me. The cutest little girl rocking her afro puffs. My granddaughter looks very similar and she loves wearing her afro puffs. Check out the stamp images below.

I created this cutie using a mini slimline card base. I started by using the Crowns stencil and tracing each crown with a black pen. I then went over the stencil with Mustard Seed Distress Oxide. Using the black pen really made the crowns pop. 

I stamped, colored and fussy cut the Puffball Girl image. I adhered her to the card base with 3D foam tape. At the last minute I decided to give her a crown. I stamped and fussy cut out the crown image from the Black Queen stamp set which is also apart of this FAB release. The sentiment from the Little Girls stamp paired very well with this image. I heat embossed it in white and placed it at the base of the image. A few black gems were added to round out this card.
