"Stella" Scrapbook In A Box

I pinned a very cute idea on my Craft board using Pinterest and when I do this my plan is to make it. It was very simple to make this cute Scrapbook in a Box.

I used "Stella" paper to created this scrapbook in a box. This is the lid of the box. The flowers and leaves were created using the CTMH AP Cricut Cartridge. I outlined the flowers and veins of the leaves using stickles. The lid is 7 1/8 x 7 1/8 and scored at 1.5 inches on all 4 sides and cut and adhered together like a normal lid.

This is the inside of the box laying flat. You will have 9 spaces you can use to show off your pictures or embellishments. I used the AP Cart to cut out this butterfly at 2".

This shows the box open and laying flat. I used 3x3 inch squares in different colored cardstock and patterned paper to decorate. Now the box is ready to put pictures, notes or quotes in. This started off as a 12 x 12 piece of card stock. I scored it at 4 and 8 inches on both sides. I used the bone folder to crease the score lines. I cut the same side on 4 of the square so it could be folded up into a box which gives you the scrapbook in a box.

This is the box in its almost opened state.

This is the finished product..I really enjoyed putting this together. I can't wait to make one with
pictures in it to give to someone special :-)

I enjoy comments...let me know what you think....and of course you can purchase the items used for this project by clicking on the "Shop With Me" link on the right side of the page.

Altered Domino

I participated in the June Scrappin Sista Monthly Swap and the challenge for the month was to alter dominoes. While I am not posting the domino I created for the swap (don't want to let the cat out of the bag since swappers haven't received them yet) I wanted to post one I made with my daughters picture on it. I was not sure how it would turn out but I have to say I love Liquid Glass. CTMH Liquid Glass was used to go over the top of the picture. I was concerned with how it would look after it dried, however you can see it dried clear. I plan to adhere a magnet on the back and make a few more of my family and decorate my refrigerator :-)

I love to hear from you....leave comments :-)

"Footloose" GIft Box

I was on Dawn a SU demonstrators site and saw a great gift box idea so I followed the instructions using CTMH products and below is the outcome. LOVE IT!!

A picture of the box in it's closed state.
This is a picture of the box open and the decoration on the belly band.
I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut out the decoration using the snowflake and circle cut. Such a fun idea and you can surprise someone with a gift in your own handmade box. Can't beat that. You can purchase this paper and the Art Philosophy cartridge by clicking on the "Shop With Me" link on the right hand side of the page :-)

"Dotty" Card Pouch

I made my first Card Pouch..YAY! I love the way it came out. I used CTMH "Dotty" paper which was a special not too long ago. The paper is so fun, colorful and vibrant. I also put together some 3x3 Dotty note cards to match.

The 3x3 note cards have the following saying in them "Just a note to brighten your day"...The saying was stamped inside with the same color of the paper on the front of the note card.

This is a picture of the inside of the card pouch with the note cards in the inside. Totally love the finish product.

I love comments...tell me what you think :-)

New Scrapbook LO's

You've gotta love CTMH paper and all the amazing LO's that can be created using it. I recently completed a scrapbook for a client and below are a few of the pages. This first one is a LO made with Pemberly paper. While I didn't originally like Pemberly after I have used it more and more it has become one of my favorites.

This vacation LO was created using Stella paper. Love how this turned out. Great LO using the WOTG kit.

Who doesn't love Dotty? Totally love this paper packet. I hope you had the opportunity to purchase a packet when we had this special last month.
ENJOY!! I love comments tell me what you think :-)

Father's Day Card Fun

Have you created your Father's day cards yet? The day is fastly approaching us so here is a fun origami shirt card concept you could use. One of my CTMH sisters, Ann Businger shared her card and this great origami shirt idea. I watched the youtube video (I LOVE YOUTUBE) and below is the outcome!! I decided to go a bit further and add some coordinating fortune cookies. Those fathers in your life would love to get some fun notes along with their card. I love comments let me know what you think :-)
