ClassyGirl Scrapbook PJ Party.....

I learned about live scrapbooking classes recently using Spreecast. I am also a member of Scraps of Color. I have myself signed up to receive one hundred and one email notifications from all these different sites (you crafters can probably relate!!) I decided to check my email and clean it up a bit when I saw there was a PJ Party by Classygirl happening in 5 mins last evening so I decided to join in to see what it was all about.

Tiare (Classygirl) did an awesome job showing you how to put together a scrapbook page and two cards in 1 hr. I watched to see how it works then decided this evening to find the sketch and make it my own. Here is my creation......

I used CTMH Dream Pop paper which was the special for the month of May! If you haven't taken advantage of this special you still have tomorrow. Its $10 with a $35 purchase from my website. I used some plain colored card stock as well as Chantilly paper for the triangle shapes on the corners of two of the pictures and the horizontal strip of paper. I had some white canvas letters I inked with black, which made for a quick title. I wrote a little blur about the pictures across the top of the layout and free hand stitches with my metallic CTMH marker. I enjoyed using this sketch. Check out ClassyGirls blog.

I love how CTMH does their part in helping when unforeseen circumstances occur. The stamp set below will be in the Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book and is now available for early purchase. One hundred percent of profits from sales of this stamp set from now until June 30 will be donated to the American Red Cross to aid tornado victims in Oklahoma. Help me support this cause and purchase this stamp set here. I am going to personally contribute an additional 15% of the total sales I get for this campaign. I will announce how much that is on July 1st. Share my blog with your crafty friends. Thank you in advance for your contributions!!

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop Featuring The Letter J

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter J. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their J element will be featured in their post.If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy
If you came from Amber's Blog then you're on the right track!
It took me awhile to figure out what my letter "J" was going to represent. At first I was looking at stamp set that started with the letter "J" but then I decided to go with the 'JOY" fold card.
I put together two cards using the May Special "Dream Pop" paper. You can purchase this paper packet for $10.00 with the purchase of $35.00 using my website. You don't want to miss out!!
I also used two fun stamp sets Happy Thoughts and Family Love.
I loved how vibrant the colors came out when I stamped my sentiment. I used the Adventures Exclusives Mini Pigment Ink Pad Sets  specifically Lagoon and Sunset.
 Closed view....

Happy Mother's Day

Wishing all my crafty friends in cyber space a Happy Mother's Day. I made this cute Mother's Day cards for all the mothers who attended my Grandmother's 80th Birthday Celebration on Saturday.

I love how these cards came out!! I used a bleach technique which consisted of me stamping the flower image then rubbing the inside of the image with bleach which gives it a very unique look. This idea was found on Pinterest and is by SU demonstrator who I am unable to give credit to since I failed to Pin the idea..sorry..I will correct when I find the card.
I used several different CTMH stamps to complete this card:  In The  Background Flair, Pemberly Workshop, Dreams come True and Perfect Fit Mom. I stamped the Happy Mothers Day in the inside with the flower from the Perfect Fit Mom.
I hope all the mothers are having a wonderful day!! You  DESERVE it !

National Scrapbook Day Creations

For all of you in cyber land who don't know, the first Saturday in May is National Scrapbook Day!! To celebrate this day my new friend LaKeisha and I got together to craft. You can see all of my creations below:

This card was made using the Chantilly Card Making Kit. I made it my own so you won't see this card in the instruction guide but all the papers and stamps are in the kit. My new SU friends, Christine showed me one of her cards with the pop up item in the window so I tried it. Such a fun and simple concept using a large circle punch and punching directly on the front of the card.

This is another card using the products in the Chantilly card making kit. I used the Perfect Fit - Mom stamp set for the sentiment. I also tried the CTMH new pigment inks for the first time and loved how vibrant the color was and the even application when stamping. Lovely!!

Up close of the previous card :-)

Love how these came out and the design!! I used Dream Pop paper (the paper packet special for the month of May). I used the pigment ink for the sentiment and the CTMH Artiste cart to cut out the flowers. Again using the Perfect Fit - Mom stamp set.

This concept is by one of my favorite artistic CTMH consultants Lisa Steinz. I again used the Dream Pop paper and the Perfect Fit - Mom stamp set.

Love the color combo again using Dream Pop and Perfect Fit - Mom stamp set.

I used my favorite paper packet For Always!! I also tried the new CTMH fabric! My new crafty friend Lakeisha showed me how to use Sizzix dies to cut fabric. I used a die with our fabric and there you have it the cutest fabric flowers ever!! lol I also used the pearl paint to add some flair along with the Token Alphabet stamp set.

This layout captures the moment of our first hiking trip at Bushkill Falls. So much fun! I used Buzz and Rumble paper and flip flaps on the layout on the left so I could add more photos.

I hope you enjoyed my creations! Don't forget the Dream Pop paper is $10 when you purchase $35 worth of CTMH product. Shop here...

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrapping:-)
