Prima Doll Stamp Meets CTMH Yuletide Carol

I enjoy stamping with the Julie Nutting Prima Doll stamps! Pairing it with CTMH paper makes it even better!!
This is the "Mindy" stamp. I used CTMH Yuletide Carol for her dress, shoes, headband and scalloped paper on the bottom of the tag. The base of the doll is CTMH Saddle card stock. I stamped a Harriet Tubman quote using the retired CTMH Scrapbook Poets stamp set on the base. Her hair is CTMH Snowhaven paper. I stenciled the background using a stencil from TheCraftersWorkshop and the sentiments are Dina Wakley Media clear stamps. I used CTMH ink black, chocolate and desert sand. The bird was colored using the Shinhan Twin Touch markers offered at CTMH.

I hope you enjoyed this project. Thanks for stopping by, HAPPY CRAFTING....SHOP WITH ME--> HERE.

Crafty Goodness....

I have been working diligently to get ready for the Santa Workshop at The Pointe Dance Studio on Dec. 6th!

How cute are these York peppermint patty snowmen!! Too darn cute!I cut the scallop using my CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart at 2 inches. The inside circle was cut at 1 3/4 inches. I free handed the face using my black 120 and Marigold YR24 ShinHan Twin Touch Markers available through CTMH!! I put a little blush on his cheeks using the CTMH Blush ink.

I am having a blast making bookmarks using Julie Nutting stamps and CTMH products! I really like how the Gold Heat embossing came out! I used a retired CTMH stamp called You and Me. The background zig zag stamp is the CTMH In The Background stamp set.

The base of the doll was stamped on CTMH Saddle cardstock. The wording on the body is from the retired CTMH Scrapbook Statements - Poets stamp set. The paper is CTMH Seaside which is one of my favs in the current Annual Inspirations Idea book. I also added a piece of retired Skylark paper. I used my Martha Stewart butter fly punch and added some Bitty Sparkles to embellish.

Here is a quick peek at items I have been working on. Tons of work but so rewarding doing what I love!!

Homemade Gift Giving ....

Have you ever given a homemade gift? Well if not I encourage you to do so this year!! I am totally into scrapbook layouts in shadowboxes or a frame. How lovely to take a picture and make it into a wonderful gift for someone? This gift was made using the sketch below that I found on Paper Studio's Blog.

Here is my take on the sketch capturing this school years picture!! I used CTMH Seaside paper along with the "All the Details, Geek is Chic and Artbooking Sweet & Lovely" stamp set!
I used multiple cricut cuts from Art Philosophy, Artiste and Artbooking. I love the colors and of course the pic is too cute!! Now how do you make this into a special gift you maybe putting it in a shadowbox!!

This is the shadowbox I used....

Look how pretty it is. Just imagine the smile on your loved one's face when they see one of their favorite pics ready to be displayed on their wall....

Here is another example of a recent scrapbook page I created in the shadowbox. This is going on my wall :-)

Carving out Memories...

I had an amazing time at my sister consultant, Denise Sanner's retreat yesterday. Enjoy as you take a look at my creations...

I enjoy Halloween and figured I better get this years pictures scrapped. This is my daughter also known as "Thing 1"! haaa I love this costume. I used Black and Ruby card stock and Snowhaven paper. The red shimmer trim added some shimmery flair. I like faux stitching so I doodled around the edges with my CTMH Metallic Markers

This spooky spider was great for this page. I cut the same size spider 7 times and glued them on top of one another giving it dimension. I added a piece of Bakers Twine as his spidey trail. The cuts come for the Artiste cricut cart. The title and spider is from pg 77. The web is from pg 76.

I love shimmer trim! It comes in a variety of colors and is an easy embellishment that helps to enhance your creations easily. The title I added 3-D tape to give it some dimension. Again added some faux stitches with my journaling pen

There is my younger daughter gracing our presence as a "Minion". Too darn adorable!! I used Confetti Wishes paper pack. I added some stamping to this layout using the Geek Is Chic and True to Life stamp set. The arrow was cut from the Art Philosophy cricut cart. The border at the top of the layout was created using the Chevron Border punch.

The spider was cut from the Artiste cricut cart pg 77.

Artiste was again used to cut the border from pg 76 and the title from pg 77. I used a white pen to enhance with dots.

Do you love washi? Well I love this Gold Polk Dot Washi which I used to frame this layout. The paper used is from the Yuletide Carol paper pack. "The Sweetest" title was stamped using the December SOTM "Cutie Pie". Of course I had to add some black shimmer trim!!

The stamp set is from the upcoming January SOTM "This Moment" (not released just yet). The flower and leaves were cut from Artiste pg 74. I cut the flower multiple time at 2, 1 3/4, 1 1/2, 1 1/4 and 1 inch increments. I distressed and used 3-D foam tape to add dimension. Love how it turned out!!

I used the retired "Ariana" paper for this layout. This is me in black and white. I used Artbooking for the cuts. The title "Be Yourself" comes from pg 41. The overlay in Crystal Blue card stock is from pg 64. I used my CTMH Metallic Marker for some random doodling around the edges.

"Live Out Loud" was cut from pg 44. I cut it twice and glued it together with my Bonding Memories Glue Pen to add dimension.

Last but not least Denise gave use each a piece of Yuletide Carol paper and a 3 Ring Kraft Binder. She had a contest requiring you to cover the binder and have other participants of the crop select a winner. The rules were you had to use the binder, Yuletide Carol paper, My Crush Holiday Happenings Badge Buttons and My Crush Holiday Happening Assortment. Here is my finished cover and it was the WINNER!!! I also added some Gold Polk Dot Washi and Triangle Studs

A side note you can cut inside pages for this binder from the Artbooking cricut cart!! When I figured that out I was excited to make plans to construct a binder to capture the 25 Days til Christmas!! You can use any of the 8x8 mini album pgs with the 3 hole punches. An example is on pg 38 under "Photo Mat". Make sure you explore the book there are tons of pages you can add.

To end the night we indulged in a waffle with toppings of your choice. I went for my fav...vanilla ice cream, strawberries and whipped cream!! YUMMY!

Snowhaven Gift Goodies

I had tons of fun in my creation station today!! Playing with Snowhaven and my CTMH Cricut Cartridges has been delightful :-)

I put together some gift card holders that were so simple to make. The card base is cut at 7 1/2 x 5. Scored at 1 3/4 & 5 1/4. The patterned paper is cut at 4 3/4 x 1 1/2 and 4 3/4 x 2. The band is cut at 1 3/4 x 8. The bow was cut from the CTMH Artiste cricut cart at 1 1/2 inches.

How cute are these Hershey Nugget goodies!! I cut the snowflake and banner from the CTMH Art Philosophy cricut cart. The "Happy Holiday" sentiment is from the CTMH Artfully Sent "Just to Say" stamp set!

Note Worthy Post It Fun

It's that time of year that I make tons of handmade gifts to brighten someones day! My current project consisted of making post it note holders and these are super cute! The idea to use the CTMH Artiste to cut the base is inspired by Liz Johnson. Sometimes you just don't know how many images are on the carts and how you can switch up the usage!

Follow along to see how they came together and make a few of your own since you can't have enough Post It's in your life....

I used CTMH Artiste and Art Philosophy cricut cart for the ease of being able to make a variety of them at once. So easy for the cricut to do most of the cutting.
I bought a 12 pack of Post It Notes in a variety of colors from WalMart. The base of the holder was cut using several card stock colors using the Artiste cricut cart pg 60 using the Card function. I cut it at 3 1/4 inches which worked well with the  3 x 3 Post It. I then folded along the score marks to make the holder. (FYI....the card cut is suppose to be for a mini album so its functionality has been repurposed for a post it holder).

It took me awhile to decide how to decorate the front. I finally decided on using two CTMH stamps. I used All the Details for the "Note Worthy" sentiment which is so fitting. I also used Have A Happy Day for the flower and leaves.

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves using a variety of CTMH inks. The Note Worthy banner shape was cut from the Art Philosophy cart using pg 68, Banner 1 cut at 2 inches. I absolutely adore the bow you can cut from Artiste so I used that cut as well from pg 56, Accent 3, G at 1 inch. The paper is CTMH Pathfinding, Seaside, Snowhaven and Brushed.

I hope you enjoyed this project and are ready to make some for your friends. They make great teacher, co-worker gifts.

A little Halloween Picture Fun

I thought this was a fun pic to share. I love Halloween and decided to dress up in an 80's theme. I am also trying to lose weight. I was scheduled for class on the evening of Halloween. My girls decided they wanted to trick or treat with a friend and her mom so I went to the gym to complete my workout. My trainer said we could wear our costumes so I did just that!!

Classic Pic!! It was all fun until we dismounted from the bike several times and did squats, jumping jacks, stair steps, down ups etc...Yep she did that in her 80's costume!! lol
