Cali Layouts Part 2...

I continue to scrapbook pictures from my trip to my home state, California in March 2012. I went to my grandfathers home going service and while it wasn't the reason I wanted to go back home, it allowed me to revisit with my family so it became a joyous occassion. Below are some scrapbook layouts I completed today. I still have tons more pictures to scrap so more to come.

This is my cousin and her beautiful daughter. I used CTMH cardstock and a piece of B&T paper from the La Belle Vie paper pack. The flowers, greenery and journaling spot were cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. The Dark Chocolate Grosgrain Stripped Ribbon is one of my favorites. I love, love, love the cart. It is a must have in your circut collection.
This is my aunt and the lower picture is my cousin and I. My cousin is on the left and I on the right. I used CTMH Clementine paper for this layout. Again used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge cart to create the journaling space, leaves, flowers and doily.
This is my little cousin. She is the cutest!! I used CTMH Flirty paper for this layout. Again I used the CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge to cut the journaling space, butterfly and the frame cut the picture is in. The Sparkles Flourishes was used to capture the movement of the butterfly. I really like how this turned out.

The designs and concepts with some changes came from the CTMH Make It From Your Heart Vol. 1 this is a wonderful how to booklet that gives you great ideas and it is so simple to use.
