CTMH New Product Blog Hop Autumn/Winter 2013 Idea Book

I can't put in words how THRILLED I am about Close To My Hearts new Autumn/Winter Idea Book. There are so many wonderful new products that will be sure to get you creating!!! 

What is so special about this Blog Hop you may ask???....You will have the opportunity to experience the creative minds of many FAB consultants who are taking you on a journey, showing you how the new product is being used!!

Without further ado....I created an Altered Clipboard using the new CTMH Laughing Lola paper packet. I just fell in love with the colors! As I journeyed through the Dollar Store my cart came to a halt when I saw a clip board staring at me, requesting a little bit of attention. (Darn it I forgot to take a picture before I covered it but you get the idea).

 I covered the surface using our black card stock along with Elmer's Craft Bond spray adhesive to keep it secure. 

I decided I wanted it to hang in my office at work so I used my favorite subject matter...MY PRINCESSES!!! I cut down the pictures and matted them on this pretty B&T paper. 

I used the new Paisley Perfect Flair stamp set for the sentiment, stamping it in black ink. It's such a cute saying as my princesses are A LOT of SASS!! I also used the new CTMH Artbooking cricut cartridge to cut out these cute stars located on pg 74. 

Another stamp set I played with is the one from the Laughing Lola Scrapbooking Workshop. Can you say..AWESOME!! I stamped this flower image a few times and colored it in using Spectrum Noir markers. The colors used are written in the picture. I cut them out by hand and layered them using 3-D foam tape. I also used the Frame Flair stamp set as well which you will see in my final project pictured below.

Here you have it!! My finished Altered Clip Board. I did some layering, used sparkles to add some flair and pretty ribbon to top it off. My project is now hanging on the wall in my office.
