Winter Wonderland

I enjoyed doing the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog so much that I made a layout this evening to submit for the Winter Fun challenge. The challenge is to create a winter inspired project while using at least 1 cricut cut on your project.

Here is my layout using Artbooking which I call "Winter Wonderland". This title is so fitting as the pictures were take at the schools PTO event called Winter Wonderland. There were characters roaming around and the girls made sure they took a picture with this snowman.

I used CTMH Sparkle & Shine paper (holiday special retired) as well as Outdoor Denim card stock. I cut the red bow out using the Artiste cricut cart. I used a combination of cuts from Artbooking pages 76 & 77. With Artbooking it makes it so easy and takes the guess work out of what size to cut the page embellishments. I set the dial to 11 inches and started cutting. I did that for the snowman and the title. I also decided to cut the photo mat 2 on pg 76 and use this as a journaling area. I cut on real dial size at 2 inches I believe (trying to recall I should have written it down). I put White Daisy card stock behind the photo mat and wrote details of the evening in the picture wells. I also used real dial size to cut the snowflake at 1 inch. I used some glitter on the snow flake as well as the snow mans scarf. I added some liquid applique (this is retiring don't miss out!!) to the rim of the hat. To give the page some spark I used my spray pen and create a shade pearl paint mixed with water to give the snow effect background.

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!
