Friends Forever

I am always excited when I come home from work to a CTMH box!! I ordered a few new stamp sets so I had to create with one of them.

Ivy Lane is such a great paper packet. I love the colors and patterned paper. Pairing it with the Fabulous You stamp set was a great collaboration.

I enjoy making different types of fold cards. This one is a fancy fold double card. I cut 2 pieces of card stock. One was cut at 8 1/2 x 4 1/4 and the other 8 x 3. The larger piece was scored at 5 1/5 inches and the smaller piece 4 inches. Take your bone folder to crease and make into two cards.

Decide what patterned paper you want to use. I used 3 different pieces of pattern paper. I cut at 5 1/4 x 4 inches for the inside larger piece. The front left green panel is cut at 4 x 2 3/4 inches. The smaller card stock will need 2 pieces cut at 2 3/4 x 4 inches.

I used the Fabulous You stamp set for the front of the card. I love the intricate design with the bird. I used the background stamp in Blush ink along the side giving me the diamond pattern. I added Bitty sparkles. The sentiment is also from this stamp set and says "Friends Forever". I rolled the stamp in Blush ink and then the edges in Chocolate ink. The main stamped image of the bird was done in Chocolate ink. To keep this card closed I used a piece of velcro.

The inside sentiment is one of my favorite quotes by Maya Angelou which is from the Scrapbook Statements Poets stamp set. I stamped the quote using Black Ink.

I love how it came out!! Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting. SHOP with Me....
