I was a day behind with spending time with my family on Saturday and my Birthday today so I decided I would get my creations done before I hit the bed.
I made two quick cards...and when I say quick I mean quick..took me less than 15 mins to put together each card.
How do you use your washi? I used it in 4 strips. I love both the Lagoon Houndstooth and Gold Polka Dot washi!! I used my Artbooking cart and cut the image in White Daisy and Juniper cardstock at Real Dial size 2 inches. You can find this image on pg 58. I layered the two cuts together. 3-D foam tape gives it some dimension. I used the Owls stamp set to stamp the sentiment in black ink. The ink did not take well to the washi so I colored the & sign in with a black marker. I accented the card with Aqua Dots...love how simple this card is.
For this card I used Balloon Ride paper packet and the March SOTM Happy Place for the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped in Chocolate ink. I used Hollyhock ink to distress the edges of the patterned paper. I cut the bow at 1 inch using the Artiste cricut cart. page 55. I used a brad I had to accent the bow. I took a strip of paper and used the scallop circle punch. I left some white from the card showing along the bottom edge. Again another simple card that came out super cute.
