It's joyous to make cards pertaining to specials moments in life. This card was created to congratulate a special couple on their engagement.
The base of the card is White Daisy measuring 5 x 7 inches. The gold UV coated card stock mat, flower and branches is from the May "Free to Be Me" paper special for National Scrapbooking Month. The gold polka dot vellum is also from the paper packet and is my FAV!!
I used the Damask embossing folder for the mat. You can't see it well in the picture but I followed the embossed area with my glue pen and sprinkled with glitter. It's Ohhhh Sooo pretty!!
I used the Art Philosophy cricut cart to cut the branches and the Artiste cricut cart to cut the flowers. I added bling and pearls to the center of the flowers. The flowers were outlined with stickles.
I cut a piece of the Gold card stock and used the scallop border punch on the edge. I embellished with some pearls. The sentiment is stamped in black ink.
Here is a close up of the branch. You can see the pattern on the UV coated card stock. You can also see the glitter on the embossed mat.
The card came out really nice!!
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!
What a beautiful card Shalana! I have played around with making flowers but they don't turn out as lovely as yours, gorgeous job!
