I enjoyed making these and featuring them on my Scraps of Color Design Team post. Are you ready for Mother's Day?!? If not here is a quick and easy Homemade Bath Soak recipe I found on Pinterest that you can whip together in no time for the special mothers in your life.
The products used came from Walmart and were cost efficient!! The bag of Epsom Salt was $.88 and makes 4 - 4 oz jars. The oils were $.97. I used 3 scents warm sugar cookie, citrus and vanilla berry. There are different sizes of jars. I decided on the smaller 4 oz jars which were $6.97 for 12. If your looking to make them colorful you can grab a box of food coloring.
I measured out a 1/2 C. of Epsom salt and poured it into the bowl.
I added a few drops of the oil.
The oil scent was citrus so I put one drop of food coloring in it to make it yellow.
Here are the completed Mother's Day goodies with paper flowers made using my CTMH Artiste cricut cart pg 54, Accent 2, F. The flowers were cut at 5 inches and outlined with stickles using Crystal, Yellow and Icicle. I also used CTMH bronze glitz. The flowers were secured to the top of the jar using a glue dot. I used the CTMH Holiday Tag stamp sets for the tags and stamped in Blush, Dessert Sand, Juniper and Black ink. The tags were also cut from the Artiste cart at 1 3/4 inches using pg 33. The tags were tied around the flower using CTMH Bakers Twine.
I used CTMH Ballon Ride, Ivy Lane and Skylark paper.
What homemade goody did you make for the Mother's in your life??
