An Ivy Lane Congrats...

How lovely is this Engagement Congratulations explosion box using Ivy Lane paper! It's always a pleasure to create cards for one of my friends Terry :-) She allows me to have fun with my creative side.

The idea for the explosion box came from Pinterest. I watched a video by My Pink Stamp. Very easy to understand and follow along. I used the Ivy Lane paper (retired) which is so pretty. I used my Martha Stewart border punch along the edge of the Cocoa card stock. I added gold shimmer trim to accent. The inside box was cut from the Artiste cricut cartThe flower was cut from the Art Philosophy cricut cartridge. I inked the edges by dabbing my sponge in chocolate ink and going along the edges.
I just love the colors for this lid. I totally failed to take a pic of the side of the lid but I used pink shimmer trim and Cocoa card stock again punched with the border punch. The bow is made using Pear card stock and the Artiste cricut cart. I have the "love" Base and Bling Storyteller charm attached. The bling on the bow is a retired CTMH brad.

Here are some up close pics of the detail. I have four hearts attached to acetate popping out from the center piece box. I added a strip of Ivy Lane patterned paper, some bling and a mist of Hollyhock ink using my spray pen. The congratulations sentiment was stamped using the The Happy Couple stamp set in Chocolate ink
