Let me tell you how quick and simple it was to put this card together using a few card making techniques:
- I cut a mat using Scrappy Boy Stitched Scalloped Edge die. I put the Worn Leaves stamp set in my Misti and only inked a portion of the stamp using distressed oxides (Picked Raspberry, Spicy Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feathers).
- I then took the Honeycomb Mask Stencil and placed it on top of the mat. I used my blending brush and applied Dusty Concord Distress Oxide around the mat making sure I did not apply color on the leaves image.
- I wanted to add a sentiment and decided on the Love, Faith & Peace stamp set which I stamped in black. I added a few iridescent sequins.
- I cut an A2 size piece of black card stock, adhered it to my card base and added the scalloped mat on top.
