Technique Junkies October 2023 Release Day

Hey Crafty Friends -

I was beyond excited to have some coloring fun with the new Gnome Skaters stamp set. If you would like to recreate this card do the following: 

• I stamped the Gnome Skaters stamp in black ink on the white card stock mat. I colored in the image using Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers. 
• I used the paper attached to the back of the stamp as my mat, laying it over the stamped image and using the Paint Splashes stamp set to build a fun background around the gnomes. Distressed Oxide, Mowed Lawn and Candied Apple ink was used. 
• I then cut the card stock using Scrappy Boy, Wonky Rectangle Die. I placed the mat on top of a piece of CTMH patterned paper which was cut A2 size. 
• The sentiment is from the Christmas Blessings stamp set. It was heat embossed white, fussy cut and popped up on 3-D foam tape. 
• I added a few CTMH Bitty Sparkles and Snow Marker on the pom pom on the hat. I heated the snow marker and it gave it a puffy look. Super cool new item I tried out. 

Here is my second card:

• I cut out a mat using Taylored Expressions Mini Slimline dies. 
• I wanted this card to be a shaker so I used 3-Foam strips to pop up the die cut which I placed acetate over the areas that would be visible as a shaker. I strategically added Christmas colored sequins to certain sections creating my shaker. 
• The Gnome Skaters was stamped in black ink, colored with Spectrum Noir Tri Blend markers, fussy cut and then popped up with 3-D foam tape. I used a grey marker around the Gnomes skates to ground him. 
• The sentiment is from the Victorian Greetings stamp set. I heat embossed white, fussy cut and popped it up with 3-D foam tape. 
• Lastly I used Stickles on the Gnomes pom pom and beards and added a few CTMH Bitty Sparkles.
