Are you ready to get creative?? Let 40 talented CTMH consultants inspire you with their creativity this month. Each Monday in August, these ladies will be posting artwork to their blogs and you do not want to miss it!! (subscribe via email to ensure you don't miss the action).
We have been challenged to create 4 different projects using the new CTMH Cricut Artbooking cartridge and any CTMH paper pack. ( yes - we all have retired paper packs in our 'stuff' and this cartridge is perfect for using up paper!!) Stop back each Monday in August to see what I have created. Each week you will see one of the follow designed items:
1. 2 page layout
2. Card
3. Mini Book
4. Home decor or giftable item

If you came from Marie's blog you are on the right track.
I made these fun back to school gifts for my girls. The 3-D items were cut using the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge set at Fit To Page and the cuts decorating the items were made using a combination of the new Artbooking cart and stamps.
I used the School is Here stamp set to make the crayon border. Outdoor denim, topiary and holiday red ink (retired) were my inks of choice for the crayons. black ink was used for the sentiment "School is Here". The hello name tag was cut using Artbooking page 68. My daughters name is hand written by me. The numbers are from the border I cut out in my below creation. I used White Daisy, Ruby and Honey card stock.
This 3-D shape was cut using outdoor denim cardstock. The border was cut from Artbooking page 69. I cut out this cute apple on the same page using the Icon key. The notebook paper was cut from page 42 using the overlay key. I drew the lines by hand however if you cut it at 4" there is the perfect stamp that coordinates which will give you perfect lines that comes with the Artbooking bundle. I also stamped the "you're a star" using the same bundle stamp set. The school bus and crayon were stamped using the School is Here stamp set. I love how both projects came out and can't wait to put some goodies in it and have it waiting for my girls when they get up for breakfast on their first day back to school which is next week :-)
