Flower Pot Card

It's a beautiful day outside and I decided to open the windows, let in some fresh air and craft. I have wanted to make a flower pot card for quite some time however never got around to doing it. TODAY was the day!!
It's a beautiful day as I look out my dining room window.
This project was created using products from the Laughing Lola Card Making kit. This is the inside card which slides out from the pot. The black cardstock is cut at 2 1/2 x 4 1/2. The center white daisy cardstock is cut at 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 and placed in the center of the black cardstock. I used the Laughing Lola Card Making WOTG stamp set for the sentiment using black and lagoon ink.

The flowers are cut using the new CTMH Artbooking cricut cartridge. I cut a total of 6 flower images 3 base flowers and 3 inside flowers. The flowers were cut at Real Dial Size 1 3/4, page 48 using the Shift Lock >Icon > q key and Icon > q key. I layered the flowers using 3-D foam tape. The leaves were cut using page 60 Shift Lock > Icon > d key. I inked the edges of the flower using lagoon, black and pear ink for the leaves. I embellished the center using bitty sparkles
This is the finished flower pot. I love how it came out. The black base is cut at 9 x 3 1/2 and scored at 2 and 5 1/2. I folded and used my scallop punch on the 2 inch flap. I cut both sides of the paper at an angle to get the look of a flower pot. I put a piece of 3 x 3 1/2 patterned paper on top of the base and turned it around to trim off the excess paper. I used a piece of ribbon (non CTMH) around the pot and bitty sparkles on every other scallop.
