BBF...Birthday Bookmark Fun

My lil princess will be turning 7 on Friday. Normally I send cupcakes for her to share with her classmates in celebration of her birthday. This year the school has prevented any edible products to be sent for birthday celebrations due to food allergies. So I had to get creative...

I am going to make her goodie bags. Not sure what it all means yet however since the kids are reading a lot I thought it would be fun to make book marks.

I used CTMH Adventure Combo card stock for the base and White Daisy card stock for the top layer.

I used the new Washi Wonder Hostess Reward Stamp Set (Ask me how you can get this stamp set) and the School is Here stamp set. I hand cut all the stamped apples and used 3-D foam tape to give the apple some dimension. This picture doesn't show it well. The ink used was black, holiday red (retired), sunset, yellow (retired) and outdoor denim.

I hope the kids enjoy being able to use this handy dandy book mark. My daughter was thrilled with the way it came out.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!!

  1. I love this! Great idea! It's probably best that schools don't encourage more food to be added to students diets anyway. I can see it now.....you'll have KK making her own Valentine's Day cards!!!
