Ohhh Babycakes

I always get excited when my CTMH products arrive in the mail and I have a sense of urgency to create something. I was excited to use the Make It From Your Heart Volume 2 to create a card. Its a wonderful guide with scrapbook and card patterns inspired by Jeanette Lynton and its super duper cost effective at $7.95. 

There is also a Make It From Your Heart Volume 1. When you need something to get you inspired this is it!!

Here is my card inspired by Pattern #23 on page 44. 

This is a A2 sized card at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 when folded. I used Babycakes patterned paper. The polka dot patterned paper is cut at 5 1/2 x 1 3/4. The Sunset cardstock is cut at 5 1/2 x 1/2. The patterned banner flags are cut at 1 1/2 x 1/2 which is the longer piece and 1 1/4 x 1/2 for the shorter piece. I added a strip of Slate Satin Polka Dot Ribbon as well as tied a bow. The stamped title block is 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 using Desert Sand cardstock and the center piece is Buttercup 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 with the sentiment "Bundle of Joy B is for Baby" stamped in Whisper ink and comes from the B is for Baby stamp set. I added a button near the banner flags and stamped the rattle in Whisper then Black ink and colored it in using Copic markers. I made a faux stitch using a brown marker.
